Advent Presentations At Fairview
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Children's Christmas Musical Presentation Entitled "An Island Christmas" and Cherub Choir offering: Our youngest singers in the church will be dear to your heart as they begin the evening with songs they've learned for Christmas. Then a fun, Caribbean flavor sets the tone for this lively children's musical that speaks the truth about giving. Snack fellowship will complete the evening.
Sunday, December 7th, 2008, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Youth Choir's Moravian Christmas Love Feast: A reflective evening of cherished Christmas music and light refreshments presented by the 60 voice Youth choir in the candlelit sanctuary.
Thursday, December 18th, 2008, 5:30 - 7:45 p.m. Children's Christmas Caroling. Join friends and come with us as we sing familiar Christmas Carols at the homes of some "Keenagers" in the area, and then return to the church for some warm cocoa treats! Everyone is welcome. Sunday, December 14, 2008, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Adult Choir's Christmas Musical Titled "The Word Became Flesh."
Sunday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. the sanctuary comes alive with the regional sights and sounds of Blue Grass music, storytelling, Christmas trees, children's nativity, old fashioned goody bags for the kids, and homemade cookies & cocoa. A real treat for the entire family will be enjoyed at this annual Christmas in Applachia!
Christmas Eve Services
Wednesday, December 24
7, 9, and 11 p.m., Sanctuary
At 7 and 11 p.m. the traditional candlelight worship services led by our choirs and orchestra focus on carols, scripture and communion. Or, if you desire a time of quiet reflection, come at any time from 9 to 10 p.m. for Holy Communion in the peace of the sanctuary. This is a special time for the holiest of nights to celebrate Christ’s birthday.
You are also invited to our regular worship services on Sunday at 7:45 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
