Children's Choir
Children's Choir begins January 13 and will meet on Wednesday nights from 6 - 7:15 pm. The choirs are divided into K - 1, 2nd - 3rd, 4 - 6th grade and work independently of each other until the end of the term when we come together to blend the songs we've learned for a presentation. At the 7:00 hour each Wednesday, all children's groups meet in the worship room to end the night with a high energy liturgy.
Our focus this spring will be songs that come from the Holy Bible and are God's spoken word to us. Our faith community will have an April presentation from the children.
The comprehensive program of Children's Choirs offer a fun and meaningful way for songs to teach practical Biblical lessons. Our music directors, Anna Young, Cindy Davis, and Pam Gildrie are trained professionals who love working with children and who incorporate Godly life lessons into each week's choral practice. Parent volunteers round out the weekly music team, and we want you to feel welcome to join us!
Music is also incorporated into the Wednesday night program for our preschoolers, ages 3 years to Kindergarten and they share in the April presentation.
If you enjoy basic construction, set design might be for you. We need designers and stage hands for the April presentation.
