"...From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise...." [Psalms 8:2 NIV]
Mission Statement
Fairview is a community where children and families become believers in Christ so that we show God our love, grow in God's love, and give God's love away.
Our Values
Bible-based, Christ-centered, Life-applicable, Servant-minded, safe, fun, creative, relational and age-appropriate.
Our Promise to Parents
We promise to provide a clean, safe, fun, and loving environment for your child to learn and play. Each room will be attended by no less than 2 trained personnel who will care for your child physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Classrooms are age and developmentally appropriate. Allowing opportunities for the Word of God to be introduced to the children through creative means such as music, songs, Bible stories, play, craft activities, and recreation with games. Everything is intentional so children can understand what God has to offer them.
Sometimes children cry when being separated from a parent. Usually within ten minutes, our trained staff is able to calm and engage them in play. If your presence is needed, we will call you using our pager system.
We enforce a well-baby environment for the health of all children and the workers. All toys, surfaces, and floors are cleaned before children arrive. When your child's diaper is changed during class, our staff uses rubber gloves to prevent the spread of germs. All drawers, cabinets, and electrical outlets are child-proofed in every room. We will report any incident or injury to you.
Fairview is also a peanut and nut free zone. Today many children have a life threatening allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. We want all children to feel comfortable to play and learn without fear of an allergic reaction, so we eliminate the threat. We also provide peanut and nut free snacks to the children when they are in our care.
We observe check-in and check-out security. Fairview UMC is a large church and takes the safety of children very seriously. Please follow the procedures to help us continue to maintain a secure environment for young children. Security procedures will be explained at the welcome center window.
