Latvian Update

Hello Again,
First, let me apologize for the delay in updates. We have been working very hard with restoring Riga 2nd Church. We have seen tremendous progress the last 3 days.
Those who are coming on this trip and have seen Riga 2nd will be amazed. We were incredibly blessed and surprised to see that the congregation had already restored most of the sanctuary before we arrived. So our job has been to strip, putty, sand and paint the church entrance doors and Narthax. The Narthax was used for storage along with the office areas and the balcony areas. This has all been removed with the exception of a small area in the back balcony.
We were also able to assist with the security of the storage area so that church tools and property are now secure from theft.
There has been much repair and the church now has a warm and inviting character to it.
As a side note, Thursday we will be traveling to "Hope for Children" shelter to remove wallpaper, plaster, paint, hang new wallpaper, enclose wiring and repair some doors.
Please continue to pray for our mission and our Latvian brothers and sisters. The economy is struggling but the church is strong and they are an encouragement to the community.
