Our 2008 Mission
May 24 – June 7 2008
Church Construction
We will constructing a roof on a rural church in the village of Mutize. Mutize is located around 100 Kilometers outside of the Capital city of Harare. In most cases, churches become not only a focal point in a community, but also the center of the community where people can worship, be educated, and be nurtured spiritually.
Vacation Bible School
We will minister to neary one thousand children through games, crafts, and Bible teaching at our daily Vacation Bible School.
Orphanage Visitation
We will visit and minister to the children at various Orphanages in the Murewa District of Harare. We will bring candy and games and give them to the children through the loving hand of Christ.
Revival
Worship and the preaching of the Good News of Jesus Christ are high priorities to the church in Zimbabwe. Many of our team members will have the opportunity to use their musical gifts and testimonies at revivals and weekly worship services. We will minister to hundreds as they gather to here the Word of God.
Medical—Dental—Vision
Our mission team will also provide some basic medical, dental, and vision care according to the skill level of our team. Many people go for years with medical complications because doctors and hospitals are so expensive. We will bridge a gap between the people of Zimbabwe and the church.
