News for Pre-School Parents on Sunday Mornings.
Please send your children with jackets each Sunday. If the temperature is above 40° the kids will probably be going out to the playground. We want your children to be warm and have a great time.2.
If your child is sick or has been sick in the last 24 hours please keep your child at home. We want your child to be healthy soon and to do our part to help the other children at church stay as healthy as possible.
Canned Foods for Thanksgiving Kids, help families have a true Thanksgiving by bringing in canned food on November 18th. During the worship services on the 18th you’ll be able to take your cans up and place them on the altar either before the service or during the children’s sermon. Remember, whatever you do for those in need you do Jesus Christ.
Visiting You!
One of the joys of being Children’s Pastor here at Fairview UMC is getting to meet all the amazing children here. Kids, please get your parents to send me an email or call me so I’ll know what sports activities, birthday parties, recitals, or other special activities would be a good time for me to visit you. Visiting you during lunch at school is also a great option. I will not be able to go to everything but I will be able to come sometimes. My email address is wdavenport@fairview-umc.org.
Parents please be aware of a new movie coming out called The Golden Compass. I (Wil Davenport) have not personally seen the film but several folks in the congregation have shared their concerns about this movie that will come out in December.
