One Church – Two Campuses
Remedy is the contemporary service of Fairview UMC. We are a group of ordinary, flawed men and women living real life with real faith. When you visit – RELAX, sit back and worship! We will not single you out and have no expectations of you on your first visit. Our goal is for you to have some time where you can encounter the living God through prayer, worship, and teaching.
Our worship services typically last 75 minutes, and dress is casual, including jeans and shorts. We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts. This will give you time to park, check in your children to Remedy Kids, and grab a snack from the cafe prior to the service starting. Our Children’s Director, Ashley Fultz, will greet you in our lobby. This is where you will check your child in for the morning. After service starts there will be a children’s message and then the children will follow Ashley to their rooms. On Sunday morning, we have a family that volunteers to bake fresh cookies along with juice and coffee. Make sure to grab some goodies before the service begins.
Our music spans many styles. Everything from songs you hear on the radio, hymns that have been sung for years, as well as worship songs our team has written. We are blessed to have an extremely talented band that leads us to a place of worship before the message. The atmosphere in this service is responsive and full of energy, a fit for every age. Contemporary worship isn’t just for college students and young adults. In our contemporary worship service, we have every generation represented, dressed in jeans to suits and ties. Come with a hungry heart, and we believe that through our worship time and the teaching of God’s Word, you’ll encounter the living God in a new, life-changing way.
