Women need encouragement and support like never before. We sang “Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go” for many years. But Grandmother’s house isn’t near anymore.  Because we live in such a mobile society, Grandmother can live several states away. Women need a sense of community and we strive to have that at Fairview and Remedy. Our women seek to foster Gospel community, grow in discipleship, and make disciples. We are passionate about God’s Word and want to share His love with others. We have many opportunities for you to become involved: Sunday School, Small Groups, UMW Circles Groups, Knitting/Crocheting, Quilting, Bible Studies, Mission Opportunities (local and international) and many more. If you are feeling led to begin a ministry, Yvonne would love to talk and empower you to do that! To get connected contact Yvonne at yshelgren@fairview-umc.org or 865-983-2080. I cannot wait to talk with you!
